Maria Parker

I am the Parish Administrator here at Birkdale Catholics.  I am based at Our Lady of Lourdes and my office hours are Wed, Thurs, Fri 9am to 2pm.

 

As a practicing Catholic, I take an active part in the life of the parish by leading children's Liturgy at Our Lady of Lourdes, as Chair of Governors at our primary school and by being supportive as and when the need arises. 

 

Since 2018 I have been a Catholic Chaplain at Southport and Ormskirk hospitals and Queenscourt Hospice. To accompany patients, families and staff is a privilege.  The comfort that this ministry of the Church brings patients, their loved ones and the staff encourages me on my faith journey.
