Next weekend we welcome Sr Joan Kerley, a Franciscan missionary of St Joseph. Sister will be telling us about the work of her own congregation and ask us to support the missionary sisters of various congregations financially and with our prayers. I know you will be generous! First Holy Communion Preparation the final session with the children at Our Lady of Lourdes is Tuesday 7 May.
Confirmation 2024 the preparation starts at 7pm on Monday 29 April at St Joseph’s. Bishop Neylon will be coming on the 20 June to celebrate the Confirmation Mass. Thanks to the team of catechists.
Fun - Food - Friendship Day Saturday 29 June from 12Noon This is an event the Pastoral Council is preparing so watch this space!
From church thanks to all who serve in the parish, to those who attend and support us in many different ways. An opportunity to celebrate together, share and meet.
Coffee (and Cake) for Cafod after the 9.30am Mass this Sunday 28 April at St Joseph’s. Thanks to the bakers, the coffee and tea makers. Please stay for the refreshments served in the Lady chapel. All donations go to the Cafod Sudan appeal.
Quiz Night (in aid of Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund) on Friday April 26 at 7.45pm in the MEETING ROOMS next to Our Lady of Lourdes Church. £5 Adults £3 Students. All welcome !
