Final week of May: Rosary in May before Mass on Mondays and Fridays. Thanks to Mary and Sheila who are leading the prayer.

Fun - Food - Friendship Day Saturday 29 June from 12 Noon until 3pm @ St Joseph's
A GRAND QUIZ NIGHT & a “Chippy” Supper 21st June at 7.45pm at Our Lady of Lourdes School. Tickets cost £15 each to include a fish / pie and chips supper from the Fryery.
First Holy Communion Saturday 8 June at St Teresa’s - 10am
Confirmation 2024 20 June 7pm @ St Josephs' celebrated with Bishop Neylon
Funerals
John Kehoe, Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes on Wednesday 29 May at 11.30am.
Hilary Barton, Requiem Mass at St Joseph’s on Thursday 30 May at 10am.
Martin Fyles’ Ordination and First Mass
A coach has been booked for Saturday 13 July leaving from St Joseph’s at 10.30am for the Cathedral. The Ordination begins at 12 Noon. Coach leaves Liverpool at 2.30pm.
Martin will celebrate his first Mass on Sunday 14 July at 12 Noon at St Joseph’s. After the Mass he will give his first blessing. Outside church weather permitting we will toast him before walking down the road to St Jame’s Hall on Lulworth Road.
Caterers have been booked and a parishioner will be making a selection of desserts.
On the day we will need help with serving drinks and no doubt many other things (we will have visitors to welcome; Martin’s family and friends, and of course we look after one another).
