Heating System at St Teresa’s Update
The work is progressing well. The pipe work to the radiators in the main body of the church has been completed. Outstanding are the radiators on the sanctuary and the three radiators that will be situated by the wooden screen, two inside the church and one in the porch. These will be coated to blend in with the woodwork before installation.
In the boiler house a fire separating ceiling is to be installed, a new flue is already in situ and obviously the asbestos and a generous collection of “treasures” has been removed.
Work on a new gas main pipe with the needed capacity for the system starts on 7 May and is to be completed by 23 May. So, we are looking at a finish in early June, just in time for the Summer. It will be SCORCIO in St Teresa’s by July!
The church continues to be closed during the week to allow the contractors to work in peace and all to be safe!
Easter Chicks!
Thanks to Frances Imrie for her Easter Chicks which raised £608 and to the Lourdes Group who gave £20 from a special round at the last Quiz.

First Holy Communion Preparation continues next week at Our Lady’s (Tuesday 23) and Linaker (Thursday 25).
Confirmation 2024 the parents of the young people will be contacted this week. Thanks to the team of catechists.
